Well, give everyone the money and business connections that plushenko has and i guess most of coaches who are successful now but weren't when they debuted would have gotten some results in 3 years.
But you forgot something Plushenko didn't want to be full time coach in the first years. He had many shows in many countries in the world. He loves that! I believe it is very difficult to give up the skating especially if you are beloved and celebrated like him and he could earn a lot of money with it. And you don't forget his grandiose own shows; Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Cinderella. That's a lot of work especially if he wants to make a high level shows. Those were fantastic shows! He has a name thus he didn't want to ruin it. He was the producer, the choreographer, and he skated the main role in them. But he worked in his school, you can't denie the progress of Sima, and Titova, and even Tarakanova.
So you don't say someone else would have done these things much better.

I understand, Plushenko haters want to prove how weak coach he is, but his work has really only just begun.
