I always found Marin too light/smily for this music. I prefer Stanislava's version already.

Kamila will easily and deservedly go into the lead. I know folks don't find her terribly musical but there are moments of brilliance that tell me it's really about the right music and choreography for her, like this SP.

I would strongly suggest she go back to the simple black dress from test skates though.

My idea is this: on one ice show Kamila wore a dress with a long skirt that added some interesting impressions to her skate, I bet they were trying to simulate that.

Have to admit, the dress looks much better blowing in the breeze. "Dancing in the clouds"? Works for me. But Russian fans...why are you clapping out the rhythm? Would you lean in on the microphone for a duet when Bocelli is singing?

The right costume can really make a big difference:

1) Valieva: I think the longer skirt was a great call, actually. At test skates, which was my first time seeing her, I found those long limbs of hers just freaky. Like a spider! Here, she looked normal (good).

2) Trusova: she was back (or "back") to stiff arms, which confirms my suspicion from test skates, that the visually-confusing Adidas top just masked it! They should put her in sleeves; try all the different lengths, and pick the one she looks best in.
