Hi, I know everyone has sight on the women free program right now, but could someone explain me how the skaters qualify for the russian cup events please ? At least those from regions like SFO, UFO and so on.. Especially this year since participation is limited

Like the GP skaters get points for their placement. 1st place gets the most points etc. The top 18 skaters (in singles for example) with the most points qualify, although there is already talk that there will be exceptions due to the many injured skaters on the National Team.

I think the question how skaters qualify to the Russian Cup events in the first place, not Nationals. I honestly have no idea either
