Actually I'd say it's pretty rude to stand in the middle of the passageway which everyone needs to walk to get in like that. Just pure arrogance, that's all. Still, in the end of the day it was her who had to give way to those who had to make it past her which makes it even more telling if you wish...![]()
I can definitely see Valieva as a rhythmic gymnast. If Kamila had not become a figure skater, she would have made an excellent ballerina or rythmic gymnast.
She was born to do something like this.![]()
You mean the FED isn't out to get Sasha?Trusova having her PCS anywhere near Usacheva's is ridiculous. That's all I have to say.

I gave the one in the free a level four, but when I was checking the rotations in her short flying camel it was only six, not eight, so I only gave her a level 3 (but rotations are hard to count so maybe I'm wrong).By the way, why Sasha’s flying camel was given lvl 3 in both short and free, I was checking them as an easy lvl 4?
That's pretty much how I view her Bolero, more acrobats rather then ballet. Her SP has balletic qualities to it but I don't think they are even attempting the same in the FS. In the FS she looks like a circus performer, the contortionist on ice or something.I can definitely see Valieva as a rhythmic gymnast.
Funny how much difference a day makesYou mean the FED isn't out to get Sasha?![]()
Sasha won becuase of Kamilas free skate mistakes the same way others win because of Sashas free skate mistakes. No? If KV skates clean today she wins. No?What a great event that was! It was messy, but very exciting.
Sasha won! And convincingly so. It was so good to see Sasha happy again after a competition. It's been a while.
It looks like she has not fully regained her 4Lutz though, hopefully that will come. She will need that to beat Anna and Alëna.
The second thing I take away from this competition is Maria Talalaykina. Her Maleficent program is just fierce. There should be a prize for best program. And this should win it.
So Sasha turns a 10 points behind to a 7 points win.
But if we take away all the bonus, they don't matter anyway at Nationals and Internationals - this is the final score
1. Trusova (4 bonus) 236.59
2. Usacheva (5 bonus) 228.20
3. Valieva (8 bonus) 225.70
So in reality, Trusova won with 8 points over Usacheva and Valieva only came 3rd.
If that is what they are going for, it is actually a cool idea. But, the whole program and Kamila's execution/ performance isn't working right now. I feel stressed watching her. I think she is stressed performing this program. They need to make some major changes. Which is why to me (despite her good SS), I would have Kamila 4th in PCS behind Daria, Frovlova and Sasha. (also I personally think Daria's SS might be a bit better than Kamilia's speed isn't everythingThat's pretty much how I view her Bolero, more acrobats rather then ballet. Also, Kamilia's 4T scares me. The axis gets so off, and I always think she is going to hit her head when she falls. I am sure they are working on it, but I am so worried about injury.
