Really? I didn't see anything..Another superb routine from a very young skater, smiling all the time, well done Liza Berestovskaya![]()
If the audience can listen to the same 2 french ballads every season although they do not understand a word and can listen to US 80s rock music on ice, they can listen to Russian pop music. I wish people would be brave enough to skate to music from different countries and not just skate to the same English, french, spanish, italian songs. I am still waiting for the day when people are brave enough to skate to German musicals, we have some really great ones with beautiful ballads that are Olympics worthy.I think the bigger problem is the reception on the international level. While you are expected to skate to Swan Lake, Scheherezade etc., the modern russian music is not what people are used to hear.
Ah, Tchaikovsky! I am puzzled about what arouses me more, the (assumable) beauty of Liza's program or the ugly mess the stream made of it.
yeah! Actually I really liked Samarin's Polyushe Polye (pardon spelling) and Evgeny Semenenko's SP (whatever that was, something like Man From No City). Wish the girls would pick more.Unfortunately, cause it’s ace!![]()
Same here!!! Russian folk or pop, gimme both!yeah! Actually I really liked Samarin's Polyushe Polye (pardon spelling) and Evgeny Semenenko's SP (whatever that was, something like Man From No City). Wish the girls would pick more.
Buble alert...
We need more KINO! I liked Zhenya's Kukushka EX. And I have a secret dream, where a czech figure skating lady (or any other lady) will skate to Threee Wishes for Cinderella:If the audience can listen to the same 2 french ballads every season although they do not understand a word and can listen to US 80s rock music on ice, they can listen to Russian pop music.
