I have no idea how reliable any online platforms are, to be honest. On the one hand, what you have posted (I mean the examples of comments) makes the impression that the majority sees some faulty score judgement and generally shares Evgeni's opinion. On the other hand, I was just re-watching the programs from Russian Cup 2 (from 1st Channel YT account), and it stroke me to see how many negative comments under Sasha's videos were shared. Not really against Sasha herself, but generally against Pluschenko's approach to the situation. Those comments were all from Russians, while as interesting as it might get, the english speaking ones (probably from Non-Russian fans) were only supportive.

What I am trying to say is that is difficult to make general assumptions only based on such "subpopulations", because it really depends on what kind of a platform you are looking for information.

Yes. I recommend you the sports.ru forum. You can find more comments against to Plushenko. More totally ridiculous and absurd negativities. Taht is something Russian properties. Most of those persons aren't real Fs fans the normal people left that forum. You can find bloggers on yandex and everywhere who had bad words on Plushenko because of Eteri. Eteri is one of the most popular persons in the FS among who are following this sport.
The FSO is a good forum.

I can't speak for Scott, but to me tyhe answer is "no." Eteri skaters have led the way in ladies' skating for several years, especially with regard to increased technical content. It is natural that they won a lot of medals.

I sincerely say I agree with you. But I don't find more logic in your post. Many of them would have been the winners without unfair scoring. I said forget Plushenko and Sasha's case. Is that normal the other skaters's are punished because of their faults, but not the Eteri's skaters?
The other coaches aren't brave enough to say against to this system..... For example how could be Kromykh on 3rd place instead of Talalaikina at the Rus CUp 1rst stage? She and even Anna were surprised about the scores. ( Anna was superior, this is not against to her) The other coaches and skaters are working a lot but Eteri skaters can beat them with weaker performaces. I know unfair scoring was , is, and will be . I wouldn't say anything if that wouldn't be regular case, if this wouldn't be a tendency.

I frankly have not noticed this trend. Overall, I think that the judges do a fairly consistent job of rewarding skaters for their strengths and deducting for their faults, regardlss of who the coach is.

Obviously once in a while a skater will get away with something without penalty, and judges may have their individual notions of what constitues excellence, just like we do.

Yulia was lowballed on occasion! So we other EG girls. But once Zhenya won worlds twice TT has owned ladies figure skating since. Who would have won if not EG girls? They scored high because of the technical content and the tough things they did on the ice that no other ladies would doing. Who would have won if not for Zhenya Alina plus 3A? Who plushyfan?
Reality says in the last four years no other lady deserved any medal above TT girls and that is not debatable.

The only time EG girls did not win a premier event was when she lost to another EG girl.

EG girls were the best?

When did they stop being the best? Everyone wants to know.

And until Sasha and aliona win something for plushie they are still part TT girls! Eteri made them. Took them from nothing and made them great. This again is not debatable.

I wish we had a season where we could see all these great girls do their thing at major events across the world. Let's see what happens let's see how great honor and KV become. I expect them to be the first to chosen for the Olympic team next year.
