Argh, I have my gym booked when men skate, will have to catch after... but yay! There is skating!

My favorite aspect of dance is my total ignorance regarding scoring. I am freed from protocol analysis to simply enjoy the performances.

That's the entry position (one of). The lift is then categorized and evaluated by the hold position and the entry. Axel lift is when the lady stands with her face to the partner at the start. So axel lasso is marked as 5ALi, if the lady would be backwards, it would be "backward lift", 5BLi. There is also step lift (5SLi) and toe lift (5TLi).
