There is a rumor at my rink that Evan was supposed to be in Tokyo this week to compete and dropped out becasue of a hip injury. I saw Evan arriving to pratice yesterday, so it can't be that serious. Hope not.

Wow, you're so lucky! you saw Bebe, Caroline, and now Evan . Heard that he was injured last week, guess those are the old hip injuries lingered him for a long time. Glad to know he's back to practice.
Does he look OK during the practice? How long did he stay there? Can he do any difficult jump now? Got a chance to see his new programs? Wish him get well soon!

Maybe Evan has cancelled the Tokyo show because next week he will participate in a Disson show in Canada? I´d suppose that because of training it would be wise not to do too many long trips before the GP series are starting.
As long as the hip was bruised due to a fall or such, and not from a chronic hip problem, I will be happy. We've had enough chronic hip problems with elite skaters: Tara, Michelle, Alexei, come to mind immediately.
You're taking skating class at Toyota Center? That's awesome! Looking forward to hearing more update from you on Evan's injury and training.
Kimmie was there for couple of weeks some time this summer, did you see her? Ever met Sasha or Michelle there? arty:
I too remember Evan has a serious chronic hip problem, read it somewhere that he had a broken hip socket and stress fracture, those are injuries very hard to heal. He had withdrawn from GPF for 2 consecutive years, hope he can make it this year.
