A question: who did the choreo for Zhilina's SP? I really like how they integrate the two different song together, I don't know if they found this arrangement ready made or if they had it done especially for the program but FINALLY a program that does not seem truncated in two!
I thought it was very good, whomever did it.

Don't worry. Her body has changed a lot! She is short but she looks like a woman not a little girl anymore. Probably they need time to save her jumps but they don't need to hurry. It seems she is in very good mood and understands what happens now.
You know even growing a couple centimeters can throw things off with all these amazing jumps. but Sasha has grown more than a couple centimeters the last year or two and hasn't missed a beat. of course all the owner is a very skilled skater the most skilled of all the ladies probably last year anyway and not training for all those months and then growing a little bit has hurt her skating. Can she get her triple axle back? I would think so I would hope so but I don't know.and with all the girls at the top of Russian figure skating and all the girls coming up in the next year or two Aliona will need her 3A and maybe more to win gold in any competitionagainst her compatriots or some of the international ladies that do quads and 3As.

I feel the same. It’s probably because she’s more demanding on average, but also very attentive. It’s worth to give a credit where it’s due.
When Adelia skated her SP, and it was done, my thoughts were “she didn’t put a foot wrong, everything was so perfect”. And I find myself thinking that more often than not when I watch Eteri skaters. It might be because I am a perfectionist in nature, but when everything’s squeaky clean, it just makes me so much more appreciative of the performance. It leaves a completely different impression overall.
Not only the programs but the packaging too.
A good example is Tursynbaeva. She looked more mature and refined. When i learned she would do a tango i thought it would be like her Carmen the previous season. I mean, they made her skate on Carmen, with that dress, when Daleman, a teammate with different body and charisma was also skating on Carmen....
But finally the program was watchable.
Her moonlight sonata especially was a level up.

The choreos aren't magnificient but the programs aren't too big for the skaters.

I’m officially a fan of Daria Sadkova!! This girl just radiates star quality and she seems so genuinely happy on the ice. The jumps are a little crazy right now but I noticed improvements in the 2A and 3Lz since Stage 1, so I’m sure her team is working with her to address this issue.
I’ll admit that I’m not the biggest Eteri fan; however, I’ll confess that I am a HUGE Sergei Dudakov fan! He just seems so kind and gentle with these young girls and he always gives off supportive vibes no matter how the girls skate.

It's doubtful whether Worlds will happen this season, but if they don't and they do take place next season, I doubt anyone would skip it after the Olympics. None of the "top" eligible skaters, Alena/Anna/Sasha/Kamila/Daria/Maiia have been to Worlds. And even if either Liza or Evgenia are sent to the Olympics, they haven't had a world title in years as well. I think it's safe to say whoever is sent to the Olympics will also go to Worlds, unless the fed decides to sub them out. This field is so tough that I don't think anyone will willingly give up their spot knowing how difficult it is to get.

Zhilina's SP is a bomb. Luckily, the shoulder/hip shimmies were reduced to the absolute minimum and they let her actually do complex steps and showcase her skating skills, instead of to overuse her arms. I do think that choreographically they misused the half splits/lunges (whatever those are called?), but probably that's what is trendy now and it will replace the leg grabbings

I just clicked on a YouTube video of "Dance For Me Wallis" and so many of the top comments were saying Alyona Kostornaia and Evgenia Medvedeva and honestly I'm so happy that not only does figure skating introduce fans to good pieces of music, but also, this is evidence that there are still a lot of FS fans out there!

At only 12 years old, Veronika is such a strong skater !!!!
I was very impressed and made goosebumps. Incredible!!
She was phenomenal! She absolutely killed that performance. The choreography was interesting and transitions intricate. I know that she had a slight trip in the SS, but I thought that 3 points behind Akatieva in PCS was highway robbery. Both she and Muravyova should have been higher imo.

Yes, Akateva is great...but for me she is a little bit boring as Usacheva. I can't see their personalities. Akateva will be great under Eteri she has great jumps already but I would like to see more personality.

Sadkova is definitely a diamond in the rough. i know she just moved to Eteri but her qualities even her jump technique are so similar to Valieva. Makes me wonder if her move to Eteri is partly because she idolize Kamila.

More than the jumps, everyone's SS was impressive. I know they are being held down in SS scores but for me everyone was easily doing a solid level 3 SS.

She appears to have long legs like Kamila, so maybe that's why there are similarities

I don't think Akatyeva is boring, her skating is so unique and looks great. And she does perform quite nicely too.

In that Moscow junior competition I actually found Zhilina a bit boring, even with the brilliant 4T. But not yesterday, she performed quite nicely too.

Hey, don't get me wrong in this matter! This is not Eteri vs Plushenko! I like Valieva so much! We, Fs fans have personal taste and we choose favorites with that taste..Zhilina is great she has personality but in this moment I don't call her my favorite junior..Valieva is my favorite junior. This is a little bit contradictory to my previous sentence but this is the truth. Sometimes I became a fan immediately and I can't explain why..just I like the skater.
