I think Alyona's Twilight and Billie Eilish programs not only show off her skating skills, but also her great performance ability. I'd watch her SP over her FS any day of the week, and mostly because the SP lets her have fun and show off. If they had a SP and FS both to pop songs maybe I'd be upset, but just one is absolutely fine. This is very different from Candyman because T/M didn't even try to perform that FS, Alyona performs so much in her programs.
 
If we're talking about new programs, I'd love for Daria to have a waltz program. Also I think her or Kamila should skate to Charms from W.E. They both have such lovely lines and regal and gorgeous skating, perfect for that piece. But PLEASE no Bolero or Carmen.

I would think for any elite lady it would be fun to skate to take five. It would be perfect for Aliona. I'm surprised no one else has skated to it sounds Nastya had it a couple seasons ago. I would also like to see Liza Nugumanova skate to it. As nifty and artistic as she is she would do great with that SP..

I think they might be referring to this old rumor that linked her with Kirill Kaprizov. They took a picture together after the Olympics because they both won gold medals. They tried linking him with Evgenia aswell but there isn't any evidence to support said claims.

I don't know if Take Five would be considered a figure skating war horse, but lots of skaters have used it over the years. Torvill and Dean, Lu Chen, Patrick Chan, Takahito Kozuka, Matteo Rizzo, Jeff Buttle, Tomoki Hawatash, Brooklee Han, etc. It is Yuma Kagiyama's ex this year (Lori Nichol chor.) For some reason it is more popular with men than with ladies -- I guess they perceive something "manly" in the cool but pulsing 5/4 rhythm.

I think it would be a challenge to try to interpret Blue Rondo a la Turk from the same album (1959) - in 9/8 time .:eek:

There's enough classical and slow programs for everyone already.

The five a war horse? Nyet!

Alyona needs to take five SP to get her speed back. Nastya scored 70 in this alyona will score 80. Guarandamnteed as The Rock would say! ;)
