Will it be Zhang's first grand prix win, btw?

I think Kimmie will take this one. Miki looks out of shape and undertrained to me. I think Miki will be held up to finish 2nd over Caroline who will also outskate a sluggish Miki. Mira? I thought she showed some nice improvement, but the judges did not seem to think so.

Does CBC or CTV air Skate America? Being a cheap skating fan, I don't want to splurge my loonies and toonies on ice network.

Unfortunantly no Canadian network is showing any of the grand prix other than Skate Canada. Don't pay for icenetwork if you're ouside of the States either, you can't get coverage of the event.

Miki to place second with a strong skate, but a fall
Kimmie to go for the 3 axel, fall and then do a 3/2 instead of a 3/3, lading her in 3rd.

what I predict:

Miki lands a 3 lutz/3loop and wins
Kimmie is lands em all, but the 3/3 is downgraded and littel stuff like that.
Caroline steps out of the 3/3 and is otherwise beautiful, but the judges won't place her first enyway, even if she was perfect because she is "the new girl"

Hey, you Torontonian, leafs isn't the only Canadian team. There is a team called Senators from an insanely boring, old town Ottawa.

I have to agree there isn't much of support or coverage for figure skating, unfortunately. Hockey players make millions of inflated loonies and toonies, while our future world champions like Patrick Chan has to look for sponsors to finance his training.

That's a little harsh although I am sick of seeing them lose every week and then listening to the guys on the radio and in the paper complain until they finally manage to scrape out a win. If they could show figure skating in place of hockey or give at least some of hockey's air time to figure skating i'd be happy. Is 24 hours of coverage a year too much to ask when hockey takes up half a year?
Anyone for bombarding CBC with complaints?
