Yes, GOE +.0.50. Initially the judges gave it +3.61 so the < cost her 3.11 points which would have been enough for her to win the Euro title. It was fair though, the jump was indeed underrotated.
But I am a bit ambivalent about the fact that the judges are required to lower the GOE because of an underrotation. You are already punishing the jump by lowering the Base Value to 80%. In this case, Anna's 4F was a nice jump, lowering the GOE seems to me a bit of a double punishment. But then again, an underrotation is an underrotation so some kind of deduction on GOE is applicable I guess...
In this case, lowering the BV to 80% would automatically lower the GOE to +2.89 (without additional deductions) so it will NOT have been enough for Anna to win the Euros anyway as she lost to Alëna with 3.05.

I agree, @Jontor. I think BV and GOE should be independent of one another. Yes, typically you would expect a jump with a BV deduction to have lower GOE, but let that happen on its own accord, not by forcing additional automatic deductions.

Adelia and Sofia :love2:

Pictures of the whole team, for comparison of the height :)

Margarita Baziliuk and Lyubov Rubtsova had both the best free skate in their novice categories and both finished second overally at the Tchaikovskaia Prize:

Lyuba (had to deal with the wrong music and the waiting for the right one):

And you can see them being there with Polina. (y)

Which number alternate was Sadkova? I thought with Kamila and daria not participating she would’ve been able to compete

I‘m so happy Kseniia‘s back!! Not worried about the flip or the combo either - she did many beautiful ones in the warm-up and she hasn‘t competed in ages.

Also, Junior Nationals start tomorrow, don‘t they? Are there any practice reports yet? I‘m still hoping Adelia shows up with an unexpected quad and takes a medal. ;)

Adelina's book "Heart of Ice":

Ksenya Sinitsina today's skate:

Sasha, Kamila and Anna challenges the boys to the jumping festival:

I hope the girls in particular do not get injured trying to out jump the boys. I think it's ridiculous. But it is what it is and it's going to happen. I hope they are all healthy for the Russian cup final so we can figure out who the 3rd spot will go to.

And thank you for the look at Adelinas book.. But I wish she did this book 5 or 6 years ago.

I'm really wondering about this injury question with the jump competition and would like to hear more ideas on it. The title of the Channel One mini-documentary on Sofia Samodelkina was "500 axels a day." So it seems like they're jumping a lot in practice. But maybe when you perform you tense up and are more likely to get injured? I myself have been an athlete all my life and only ever got injured in practice, with one exception. And I always said to myself after being injured in practice "darn it, I didn't warm up enough; if it had been a game I would have warmed up more!" That could just be retrospective rationalizing though. It could also just be a question of statistics: there are more total hours spent practicing than playing in games/performing.

First alternate. She would have been there if not a lot of skaters from Senior Nationals decided to show up here - Frolova, Tsibinova, Molchanova and Kostina.

So happy to see Ksenia too! She's such a wonderful skater.

But I worry how on earth RusFed will manage to get her GP assignments for next season? She has literally no results this season.

There was a talk about Daria earlier, I've posted here the lists of final cup standings several days back (juniors, seniors). She was 16th which would be enough, but four (originally I've counted three) girls who were competing at senior cup stages are competing also at junior nationals (Kostina, Frolova, Tsibinova, Molchanova). So Daria is like a 2nd alternate.
