2021 Russian Junior Nationals Day 2

It looked like she won't stop spinning at the end. :) Little rough but with two quads delivered.

Zhilina always seems a bit wild to me. You never know when the mistakes will come. Two great quads then she messes up the combos and falls on the Lutz.

It's the first group, Ted, but Zhilina was out of place there.... hmmm, maybe she will start having second thoughts about moving to Plushenko after this debacle?

I missed the quad attempt - how did it go apart from the fall? Was it close to being rotated?

Pretty sure she was unstable before moving to Plushenko. She is only 12. She needs time to develop competition nerves. Not all are natural competitors.

Well I'm out, it's almost midnight and work is on tomorrow.

Good luck to the rest of the girls, I hope Sofia Muravieva has a good one...and that the Russian Missile that is Adeliya P takes off.

Good night all.
god night! see you tomorrow

After the 2nd quad I thought this was gonna be the program for Zhilina but alas it wasn't meant to be. Sad but she finally landed the 2 4Ts so it shows that she can indeed be clean in need be. Also can she get rid of that catching her leg transition after her 3Lo and her bendy choreo after her 2A and 3Lz in the SP? They are not aesthetically pleasing.

Who else thinks she's skating injured esp after that 3A fall yesterday? Her R ankle looked so shaky on each landing like she was barely holing on. Reminded me of Sasha in Rostelecom FS.
