that's really disappointing.Wow, so this is how Zoom choreography works. I thought they would bring a laptop to the rink.
I was convinced they had a serious setup on both sides when doing this (big screens, High definition cameras with an operator when she skates etc)
Anyway when she giggles she lifts me up, and I can't help smiling.

The phone doesn’t bother me as much, I honestly thought they were done with choreo back when Lakernik visited her, and he gave his comment on a finished program.
On the video it looks like it is still being choreographed, and Cup Final is 2 weeks away.
I wonder if this is an older video that just got posted now, or perhaps SLB is just making some finishing touches?

It concerns me as well. I hope that's an older video. Otherwise, ugh I don't know how they plan to deliver some performance on par with the Eteri army in 2 weeks.

The information is incorrect. Sasha was in Don Quixote. This photo here is older (from the beginning of January) and has now probably only been published because a lot of crap was thrown at Plushenko again on the usual channels for going to the Bolshoi with Sasha and without Alyona.At the Bolshoi for the ballet Don Quixote.

That may well be so, though it is still a nice picture of Alёna.
Some people will look at this picture and see a happy, smiling person with two friends fans or perhaps family members.
Others will look at and think "poo-chucking" contests (not much charm in that thought).
I'm of the first group, myself.

Still a lovely reminder of what Aliona can do. She is a beautiful skater.

I found this today and I can‘t express how much more I love it than her actual SP. Normally I‘m not a fan of the “swap music“ edits but this one works pretty well, IMO. Of course there are many moments that are disconnected (obviously) but some parts, especially in the step sequence, were nice. It also helps that the transition between the two pieces is somewhat smoother - AND Beth is a strong yet complex character that I could see Aliona portray really well. So, yeah. Watch and judge for yourself:

And I miss Aliona, by the way. I still hope that we’ll see her at the Cup Final against all odds, even if the clip of her working on unfinished FS choreography with Shae-Lynn hasn’t inspired much confidence. How much muscle memory can you really get for a new program in two weeks, if you also have to improve your stamina/get your jumps back?

Apparently one of Aliona’s fan groups, while preparing for Cup Final, asked Aliona directly about her participation there and she said she’ll be there 100%.
This sounds like she’s in a good mood going into it, appears that she’s not even considering withdrawing, which I think means that she’s feeling ready.
Crossing my fingers to see 2 great skates and excited for a new program for her.

that's really great to hear. i hope her training is going well and things are falling back into place for her, 3A or not, and she can put out 2 performances she can be proud of.

I agree with your sentiment and I think Aliona has a very good chance to make the podium in the Russian Cup final which would be a good way to end the season or a great way to go into Worlds.
