I think Alena wanted it sooo much. She's just not quite recovered enough. That has nothing to do with desire. In fact it WAS her desire that kept her in the competition. (Otherwise she wouldn't be here.)

Liza was incredible!!! Esp when you consider how long Liza has remained competitive, the fact that she has already won Worlds (like 5-6 years ago?) when some of these ladies were just getting their jumps, it is pretty amazing and speaks to her hard work and determination that she has remained competitive and upped her technical content. Also she would the undisputed #1 is most other countries besides Russia.
