That sounds like Black Speech unless it's from something else lol. Specifically the one ring inscription unless I'm wrong?? lolAsh lutz durbatulûk, ash lutz gimbatul, ash lutz thrakatulûk agh PR-ishi krimpatul.
Definitely potential for a 3A in that gorgeous 2A!Sadkova could potentially surprise next season. Especially if this off season she manages to learn a quad or 3Axel. I think her jumps are really big, especially 3A potential there should be. And then we'd have Akatieva, Berestovskaya, Petrosyan and Sadkova... Going from 3 juniors per cycle to 4, huh.
Aliona for Rukavicin, now that's an interesting thought! His ladies are always nice to watch. In some ways Aliona reminds me of Gubanova but with better jumps. Realistically speaking it's not very likely though, as Moscow skaters rarely move to St Pete. So either TT or CSKA would be best, as you say.Go to CSKA when Aliona would be number one or to Saint Petersburg Rukavicin where she would be number 1 or back to TT where she would not be number 1 but if she gets her form back she would be a contender for the Olympic team.
I don’t remember why she left, but if she wants to return the reason she gave was a false one and yeah it means less time for the other girlsPerhaps an unpopular opinion but I really don't want Eteri to take Alena back. Nothing against Alena - she's a beautiful skater but wouldn't splitting Eteri's time among this many girls (especially since she just gained Sadkova and Berestovskaia as well) hurt all of them in the end?
In all honesty I believe that's the secret to her success. When you train everyday with pretty much the biggest competitors in the field, you know exactly what you need to do to be competitive and try to get in front of them. I'd imagine that's rather stressful but, again, it leads to good outcomes in competition. They aren't afraid to compete b/c they compete every day. They come in battle tested and it's why so many of them are so focused when they go out to compete.Eteri has had most of them before and it certainly hasn't hindered their progress. I think if anything it makes everyone push themselves more.

Really hope so! I already like her skating and I haven't even seen a clean FS from her yet!Sadkova could potentially surprise next season. Wow...the drama happened in just one night...
For Liza B - I'd say it's a good move. I guess we won't see so many fun programs from Liza by Daniil, just like what happened with Kamila, but it's good for her long-term development. Also, great to see Davydov's response, and that's how it should be.
And on the other hand...
What an irresponsible (potential) move from Aliona. Now she has no way of returning to Plushenko, who, despite we're all questioning his coaching ability at the moment, clearly put a lot of effort and money on her. She obviously knew the risks before moving to Plushenko and the fact that he did not have much experience coaching successful skaters, and yet she chose to move. Now she got two brand new programs, skating to music she like (which she claimed she couldn't in Eteri's group), and she want to go back without even consulting with Plushenko? The whole, "Mom Kostornaya was against her leaving Eteri" literally made me gasp. Now they're putting Plushenko in an extremely awkward situation (basically saying he can't coach), and forcing Eteri on moral high ground. IMO Eteri has no responsibility to take her either. These are coaches with human feelings, not robots.
Am I missing something here?
Yeah, for that 09-10 age group they aren't so special. CSKA's far stronger with that age group. That's why I believe there could be some potential for transfers in there. I of course have my favorites but...Definitely potential for a 3A in that gorgeous 2A!
Hopefully the team tries to refine Rubtsova and Dvoeglazova a little more, they aren't really the superstars of their generation (which I'm sure Eteri would prefer). Both have potential (Rubtsova seems to be quite a natural performer based on her ice age kids performances) but I haven't really seen them tap into it yet.
Ah and now Poe hahaAnd the silken, sad, uncertain rustling of each excessive pre-rotation
Thrilled me—filled me with underrotation calls never felt before;
So that now, to still the landing of my lutz, I stood repeating
“’Tis some tech panelist entreating entrance at my chamber door—
Some technical specialist entreating entrance at my chamber door;—
This it is and nothing more.”
Definitely true, but I was just thinking there's probably an upper limit to when there are too many skaters and it starts to become detrimental instead of helpful (imo the group has been getting rather large but perhaps still nowhere near the limit?). Also, it's not like there's a shortage of competitors in the Eteri camp right nowIn all honesty I believe that's the secret to her success. When you train everyday with pretty much the biggest competitors in the field, you know exactly what you need to do to be competitive and try to get in front of them. Ta, I was just wondering what Skatesocs was referencing! Looked up 'The Willow Meads of Tasarinen' only to realise it wasn't that... need to broaden my literary horizonsAh and now Poe haha
I’m also speechless, Plushy maybe not the best coach but he gives his skaters what they need (accommodations). She’s doing exactly the same thing she has done with Eteri.
At least when Zhenia left Orser because of Covid, they parted in a good way.
