I would have had Rika closer to Anna (maybe 1 point more)

Ok so...Rika got hammered. Karen gifted. Anna's mistake was ignored and she leads two ladies who skated clean (at least visually) with 3A's. Did Japan skaters upset the judges somehow here?

I think it's supposed to be cool and edgy, and it misses the mark IMHO. Black does her absolutely no favors, and she doesn't need to wear black to look thin!!!!

All the Russian PCS are interesting..Liza and Sasha are also too high. Karen, Yelim, Rika, Kaori are too low.

She doesn't flutz though, so not calling it is correct.

So Kihira's 3Axel UR was indeed correctly called, Sakamoto's 3Lutz edge was correctly called, but somehow Karen Chen's URs were not called.

Interesting.

Or you favorites trip in the Stepseq and lutz edge and 37 PCS ( with the worst SS in the top group) or Liza's UR and 34 in PCS when they gave Rika 35 and Satoko 34. We all focus on what we want don't we?
