Their throws might be the key to why they continue to have problems with individual jumps.

Well the jumps seem to be an obsticle for many pair skaters. I really want Peng Jin to succeed.

Ever since I read The Second Mark, I have mad respect for all the Chinese pairs (and their coaches).

OMG yes! I was so mad at how the judges refused to score Hongbo and Xue well until they "Westernised" themselves. Like WTF? Shameful!

Neither Brandon and Alexa nor Tim and Ash let the performance get away from them. I’m pleased with that.

They did fine.

The placements will be what they will be, but I don't think anyone should have expected much more than what they delivered... hoped maybe, but this is a respectable result. Remember, they are a first year pairing and a substitute pair.
