Good move! I always liked streams with no commentary, but Mark Hanretty is doing a really good job. The stream has been absolutely perfect. No buffering, cutting out, etc. If you scroll all the way down, you can find replays of all the various disciplines. Quite a bargain, all for $4.99 for a month!

🎢Welcome to GS and the wild ride known as Shoma Uno. He's great online and even greater in person! 💜
Thank you for the warm welcome and also for mentioning who the NBC streaming commentator is. I love his style!

I have to write Peacock tv and the ISU about what a great job Mark is doing. LOVE his commentary. He keeps relatively quiet during the skating, is very positive and yet points out skaters' errors, just generally great. Every now and then I have a little trouble understanding his Scottish accent, but hey! You can't have everything! He's commentating the ice dance live right now.

Wait did Shoma won the FS small bronze medal? Okay, I'm going to start manifesting a new video where Shoma puts the small medal on Emma. I DESERVE THIS, SHOMA!!! (or Itsuki, I'm not picky on who uploads the video) 😂

Some quotes from the post-FS interview, thanks to yawning_shoma:

I love it. I know Shoma didn't medal here (and maybe could have... without that 3A fall in the SP...) but I'm just so happy that he was able to go to Worlds once again, experience the tension and fire of a big international competition again. And get that experience with Stephane and the Champery Team too, because they had so little competition together since Shoma moved. And he fought for every jump in that FS ❤️

Bonus: Shoma applauding Nathan's incredible FS with pure joy  He is so precious. This really reminds me of why I fell in love with Shoma in the first place- that honest, genuine sincerity he shows on the ice and off the ice. It makes his joy and happiness means so much because I knew, that's not a face he puts on, that's his real feelings. And I'm so, so, so glad that when the crossroads happened, he chose to continue skating, he chose happiness.
