Completely unrelated here, but I was wondering if the top three ladies at Worlds got to decide which GPs they got. Like could Anna chose to go to Rostelecom (wait... will there even be a Rostelecom?) and say NHK, and then Liza chooses two and then Sasha gets the last two or do the Feds still get to decide who goes where. If its that case which fed gets the say first, like does USFSA choose the skaters they want at Skate America first because that event is usually first? And how are they choosing the SB lists, is it 2019/20 SBs or 2020/21 SBs (do they even exist?)
If you ask about the ban, then yes, the ban is not applied on GP/world cup series (not even europeans) throughout sports.

I'm not sure, but if there is choosing then most likely it would be Anna chooses her first choice, then Liza, and then Sasha. And then same for second choices.

Liza N, Sasha, and Ksenia T alternates. My guess is Sasha's first alt but I read somewhere that she doesn't want to attend another competition without of mother - although does that apply for a relatively "fun" one? Either way, I don't see Anna or Liza T withdrawing.
Anna strikes me as the kind of person that if you told her to rest, she would still find a way to get her training in while sitting on her couch. Haha

The article (the one from yandex zen) was posted already. We can talk about how reliable and relevant it is and whether it isn't more about the conviction of the writer
a) YandexZen is NOT a news site (YandexNews is), it's a news aggregator/blog platform
b) the 'article' linked above in the thread is also a compilation of news and rumours by that blogger
с) original blog post about Alyona appeared on YZ on Mar 25, was reposted/quoted by someone in the blog section of sports.ru
d) the fact that Alyona is listed as one of the performers in the TT show, doesn't mean TT has accepted her - her trial period ends on May 4; till that time she can perform (if she's in shape to do so; she'll need the money after all to pay for the free cheese she had before returning to TT, it seems)
e) re reliability - the blog posts (both the original & the compilation one) citing 'unnamed specialists' are as reliable as the one I might post on YandexZen about uncle Kolya, Zamboni operator in Khrustal'nyi, regularly jumping 3A at night while the rink is empty.

hope this helps :)

As I said, Scott would not lie. ;) But interesting question, are we saying the Yandex article was said-article, or was there an article on sports.ru itself that was deleted? My assumption was that there was an article on sports.ru itself that was moved/deleted, but who knows.
It was sports.ru.

It covered what was basically the same things she is staying at TT and aliona has her 3A back.

We were want a video of course.

Lol stop making up pathetic lies
Other people saw the articles.

I can only report and talk about what's been reported and that was what was reported.

My prediction is that Aliona is gonna be so fired up for next season she's gonna do multiple triple axles in her SP! :) If she does she will be scoring 90 plus and put the pressure on everyone else. Sasha is still going to be handicapped not being able to do a quad in the SP so Aliona does have a chance to take her or someone else spot on the Olympic team.

Lies? Let's review Scott's claims. He claims:
1. he went back for the article and couldn't find it.
2. He will try to find it and post it, though from laptop because it's hard to do that from his phone.
3. Aliona would fit back in her re-estabilished team as she knows the girls.
4. He's sure they will forgive her.
5. He (or we) wants to see the vid of the 3A.

So, to claim he's making up pathetic lies you should rather prove that:

1. he actually found the article but said he didn't.
2. It is easier to post it from his phone than from his laptop.
3. Aliona doesn't know the girls (you know Anna, Kamila, Daria, Maiia...).
4. Scott isn't sure at all they'll forgive her.
5. Nobody wants to see Aliona's restored 3A.

Good luck ;)
My favorite lawyer from Prague!

All I can do is report what I read and others read it too so I know the story existed. When it seemed to disappear.

Yes, I think they do. The top 1-3 at Worlds and the 4-6 at Worlds have to be separated. Anna chooses her GP’s. Then Liza chooses from the remaining 4, then Sasha gets the last two. Then the repeat with the top 4-6 at worlds. (I think. I’m not 1000% sure.) After that, it’s a combination of world ranking, host spots, etc. The skaters choose some and the feds choose some. It’s a bit of a mess. The skaters don‘t know who is at the GP’s they choose, sometimes the feds do, sometimes they don’t. It’s a bit of a jumble and it ends in us getting a nice list telling us who is where.

She can't.. The composition of the SP is: 2A/3A, triple jump, jump combination (3+2, 2+3, or 3+3), etc. When you use the 3A for the 2A/3A requirement, it CAN'T be repeated again as the solo jump or in the jump combination. (Also the jump combination MUST be different jumps than the solo jump.)

It CAN be repeated, it will just be an invalid element worth 0 points. Stop telling Alena what she can or can't do with her 3A when she gets it back.

Well, Eugenia did it 2 times in the official competition (euro and rusnat in 2017 I think) - added 3rd triple to the combo.
I would not call her 'unintelligent'.
That's not the same thing. Medvedeva didn't actually lose points doing that.

I didn't say she was unintelligent. That's someone else's quote. Don't attribute that quote to me. Also that was before the rules changed.
