Really nice video on Itsuki’s channel - closeups of Shoma’s junior and novice costumes. So many memories. There are some I swear I’ve never seen before tho 🤔Most of them were decorated by Mama Uno 🥰

And a new clip with Shoma being interviewed after Worlds. But he’s saying mostly the same things. I really hope we can have a normal season, it’s so important for skaters 🙏

 
What a great idea to show us Sho's costumes! Is it any wonder why he has earned Best Dressed comments! Talk about variety and being "well packaged" by his team! Hopefully they are headed to some kind of display, or at least some of them should be in a museum. I know occasionally he has lent some shirts to other, younger skaters...I saw it written somewhere that his mother made (or decorated) a lot of his costumes. I don't think I realized that!!!

Well, if we can't see Shoma right now, next best thing is his junior and novice costumes!

I can't imagine making those costumes especially the red one and by hand! Mama Uno 's a genius.

Q What's your most memorable program?
Shoma: I always rather think about the present than the past so I don't have one.
Q What's your favorite movie?
Shoma: Any movie with a happy ending
Q What's your favorite food?
Shoma: Food that I don't dislike lol

So.... Number one rule when interviewing Shoma: Do NOT ask "What's your favorite *something*" because you will never get a proper answer 😂😂
 
Congratulations to Baron kun for doing well at his first dog show. He really is beautiful the way he prances around! I'm not quite sure why he has "GO TO EAT" for his name, although we know he likes to eat a lot (especially if it's Toro's food). :laugh: Really looking forward to him meeting Sho!

Reminiscing just a little bit and remembering Sho's first team event as a senior -- Japan Open, October, 2015. He took first in the men's single and Japan took 1st as a team. Quite a team event debut to a totally packed arena! 17 years old at the time.

I attended that competition to see Mao.
Shoma’s performance was marvelous.
Everyone couldn’t wait for giving a standing ovation.

You have been to some amazing competitions, jerrymouse! I watched the You Tube of Mao's beautiful Madame Butterfly performance too. I remember that was her come back season. She was fantastic!...Thx for the updates on Baron kun. He really is a beautiful dog!

Awww. I loved seeing Baron strut around at his first show! He's still just a baby but he did really well. :party2:

Seeing these past events is getting me fired up for WTT. :cheer:
