2021 Cranberry Cup International

What is going on in the West Rink?
Not sure, maybe just practice ice? The sign-up sheet didn't say.

Do you happen to remember if the parking lot looked full? I'm going to be heading down in the next half hour or so. (The drive from NH takes a while because of traffic.)

Starting orders for Senior pairs Cranberry Cup are up:

I enjoyed getting a glimpse of the Junior pairs entered in the Cranberry Open today. I only saw today's free skate event for Junior pairs (and the two senior pairs: Mokhovs and Cooke/Bearinger). Unfortunately, I missed the short program sessions that took place yesterday. And it doesn't look like replays are available. Nor has anyone responded as to whether videos have been uploaded anywhere.

Final results Cranberry Open pairs (junior/senior):

Replays are available as far as I know.

Not too bad I don’t guess. There’s a mass of parking blocked off for officials and volunteers.

Oh, perfect! Thank you :)

I’ll be wearing my University of Dallas alumni shirt and big gold earrings (might take those out though).

Per today's West Rink schedule, it has Cranberry Open (as opposed to Cranberry Cup International) Junior Ladies FS from 3:00 - 5:55 pm (with resurfacing from 4:20 - 4:35 pm).

Yes. I found it. I’m watching Lake Placid Ice Dance. Lots of teams to wave my Israeli flag for 🇮🇱

Huge thanks again for waving your big 🇮🇱 flag for Nikita Kovalenko.

And I saw you waving your big 🇺🇸 flag for U.S. junior men too. :)

I'm so sad for Samuel Mindra that today was not his day. :(
But I was pleased to see that USFS had used his photo in a Cranberry Cup promo tweet earlier today:

I hope that he will come back strong in his next competition, whenever it will be.

In better news, it was great to see Michael Xie place fourth.

Thank you to those providing updates from the event. Random question but do you think they’d allow me to bring an empty, sealable water bottle?

Yes. I have 2 bottles of Diet Coke.
To be clear I have a clear plastic arena bag with a ton of junk in it. I just hide contraband in the flags. Today I had enormous very heavy laptop that was too hot to leave in car. Clear bag of flags, gloves, soda, masks, hand sanitizer, chapstick, assorted other junk. Dozen red roses for Gracie. Small bag of small stuffies. I am exhausted. Roses are delivered and stuffies handed out. And the laptop is in my hotel room where it will stay.

If I can bring all this junk in I don’t think your water bottle is going to be an issue. The kids checking me in only cared that they scanned my ticket.

If you are going to sit near the ice it’s going to be cold. Be prepared. If sitting far away it isn’t terrible.

I felt kind of strange calling skaters over after practice. There are other people doing it at Nationals. Today I was the only one. But I mean I bought a special stuffie for Donovan.

I also have Mexican flag, small Canadian flag and pride flag for Amber (was going to be for Tim as well) 🥲

I just realized Donovan Carillo is competing and Uncle Bychenko :love2: But the mens SP it´s going to be in the middle of the night for me, so I try to watch the mens SP tomorrow instead. I checked the stream and it seems possible to replay.

The ladeis SP is in a really more time friendly zone and i´m really looking forward to watch this today!:hap10:
