I agree that Mariah had too many music cuts especially for a short program. And I do hope this isn't a final costume. But still a solid start to her season! Nice to see two skaters representing Cyprus!

Stressful is a good way to describe it. The choreography is not frenetic but the cuts absolutely are and it feels a bit like multiple radios blasting at the same time in the second half. I don’t understand how we got here from that charming Celine Dion programs two seasons earlier.

To be fair, her Britney program from a few years ago was really good and I think that's the energy she wanted to have. I think there would be potential in a Chromatica intro right into Rain On Me.

Kitromilis is winning the Cyprus #NebelhornSpotHunt (I assume that's what Cyprus is using this comp for). Big lead over Zingas, but also not insurmountable.

Yeah, I should say I was skeptical about the Britney program at the start of that season but by Nationals it was really working for her. So it’s possible this will grow on me too! The idea isn’t bad.

Gracie had a pretty nasty fall on the SP run trough yesterday... Wondered if that could have impacted her. I didn´t see all of her jumps in the warm up, as she was jumping a lot outside the camera angle, but I did only see single jumps. She was so much more confident jumpwise at Philadelphia Summer Championship. At least her SP. Really hope she can have a good FS tomorrow.

That fall was right in front of me. It did look bad.

I loved the Britney-program. It did work. I´m not sure we will see the same effect in this program though. Basically because Britneys songs are awesome so that helps a lot

Hey Moonvine, if you get bored during a comp do an internet speed check with your cell phone and tell me what the upload speed is. not the download. I think their local computer has buffering/ram issues and that is causing the glitches on the feed. PM me the upload speed during a comp. Thanks.

Meanwhile, Alysa is unsurprisingly leading the US #NebelhornSpotHunt. Mariah or Amber could conceivably pass her, but we'll see!

Should be a fun last couple groups. I think I'm most rooting for Young to nail the FS.

I envy her for trying to do something different, but I didn´t really enjoy the music cuts. It´s just so messy and stressful. Also her costume is just very... plain and all?

Probably not her final costume. I think it's lovely though. I feel this is not Olympic worthy at all. I would have loved to see her do something classical. She obviously enjoys this type of program. I think she is better than what Rippon has done to her!!
