Oh beans - anyone who would criticize Jason's costumes ought to look at Hanyu's - I personally have always preferred LESS than more. I really don't care for the frills and the lace and the foo foo things hanging from arms, etc. I think it detracts from the skating. What you see with Jason is an athletic young man and a lot of excellent skating. And with a nod to my avatar, I think Kurt's white jacket tuxedo when he did Casablanca was darn near perfect. It fit the music and didn't make you look at it instead of the skating. JMO, of course. I still maintain that TSL has gone the way of other sensationalistic tabloids. The "lets give people something to talk about" is disrespectful to skaters.

I don’t hate TSL - that is why I watch it. It informs me of upcoming competitions that I wouldn’t hear about otherwise.

Jason is having a great time in Sun Valley - too bad there isn’t a way to see the show by online pay. That’s probably what makes it so great for the audience. No camera’s everywhere.

I love seeing a variety of costumes. Plain or bedazzled. As long as the skater is comfortable with it.

I’m trying to understand what TSL could have meant by saying he arrived at Champs Camp in “less than ideal” condition. He looks really good here. Could it be his 3As and quads aren’t quite back? Because okay, we only saw up to 3Z here-but what we see looks great. I’m mystified.

Lovely 3Lz, perfect 3F, breathtaking spins and light-as-a-feather steps with full iconic Jason knee usage....that ain't a skater who's recovering from a broken foot and "barely doing triples".

I'm not doing the I told you so dance...but I sure am thinking it loudly.

They probably equated not attending Peggy Fleming because of a minor foot injury with a full broken leg and bad condition which is very unethical if it's the case. And because... TSL.

So great to see Jason on the ice in plain view. I’m sure his parents are excited to see him practice in person and then watch him skate in the show! He is doing 2 great programs - and who doesn’t want to see him bring back that fun exhibition program? Now we know what he will be skating to.
