According to MatchTV, Aliona is skating to blues music for her SP and Vivaldi's "Winter" for her FS!!!!! :eek2::jump::yahoo:

Here's a tiny snippet of the "Winter" program:

We don't know exactly what blues music she's using, but I'm super excited about these programs!! I think they will suit her perfectly! :hap10:

Having listened to the full SP song ("Am I the One") I have to say I really like this choice for her! Feels inspired but not too left field. I can't wait to see what she does with it! Not thrilled about Four Seasons, but I'll hold my tongue until I've seen a proper performance.

And OMG finally we get to see the 3A in action after a whole summer of wondering if she'd regained it! I knew she was capable of it. So is it confirmed she'll be attempting 3 of them this weekend? Even if she only goes for the 3As in the free that's amazing! Especially considering at the same point in the season 2 years ago she didn't do any 3As and didn't attempt one in the SP of a competition until GP France in November! Looks like she's made great progress. :love2:

Not sure why some are trying to say it's downgraded, I'll admit I'm not great at spotting under-rotations unless they're really obvious but downgrades are usually messy, and that attempt definitely wasn't. If anything it looks like it's on the q, and if it *is* 3A< that's fine, I'll take it! But no way does that look 3A<< to me.

Aliona pushing boundaries again.. she is (imho) the only one of the group who can rock this and who knows it’s potential..
The only other songs I would have loved for her (in this vein) is Magic Man by Heart.. or Stop Dragging My Heart Around by Stevie Nicks & Tom Petty
I love this .. knock our socks off lady!!

Really proud of Aliona for risking the 3A even after being unable to warm it up. She has grown so much, mentally, and perhaps today will help her with her tentativeness if others skate through/around/near her preferred 3A warm up zone. It also seemed as though she was better able to put the disappointment of the imperfect landing behind her. I'm really looking forward to her Vivaldi free tomorrow - may she have a skate that meets her own high standards!

If I remember correctly, Aliona is always nervous during test skates and she handled today with strength and maturity, performed superbly .. as for the 3A.. with the hard work and perseverance she is known for there is no where to go but up!! Fingers crossed …
