Yes, they do. The new costumes stand out so much. 🥰 I don't believe we've ever seen that shade of green on Dai - it complements Kana's red dress so well. Here are some more practice photos and a clip of their arrival at the venue:



I wonder what their new RD costumes look like. Well, we'll find out soon! Kana and Dai are skating first tomorrow.

It is the best RD program of this season in my personal opinion, and their costumes are so unique and beautiful.
I think the judges were a bit conservative because they were the first to skate and it was their international debut.

Agreed, it is SO GOOD. I'm obssesed with it. Love all of the newly added in flourishes since we last saw the RD at Labour Day Invitational. Everything about it is so on point - from the concept, element placements, the transitions and the music editing to the costumes, hair/make-up and just...the attitude with which Kana and Dai perform it. It really is a work of art. :points:

I'm happy the judges scored them favourably for a new team on the circuit and am rooting for Kana and Dai to be able to hold their position in the overall ranking. Ganbatte ne! :hap10:

Wonderful FD!!!! They are heading in the right direction. Technically they are very good
now they have to work on the PC mark. When I watch them I forget about the scores and
just enjoy the great vision that they create for their audience! Bravo!

Wow, their edges are sooo deep! The lift was a bit scary though.

Kana said she was nervous because there was no official practice time for ice dance before the competition this morning.

After their fall in the warm up my nerves were on full alert and I could not drink my
morning coffee. I mean they both splatted and I was so worried about injury.

It must of been pretty tough on the skaters with no official practice before the competition.
I know that the dates got changed but they should have accommodated the Ice Dancers.

That said I am so happy that they did so well and got a PB score.
