Pascal was at Santa Claus Cup earlier this week. So he came from Hungary. I guess some of them are staying in Europe to go to some Nationals next week (I think France and Spain are next weekend).

I had the same thought! I wonder if Marie-France is there to support Hawayek & Baker’s claim on the US #3 spot, against the inroads of Green & Parsons? The Armenians already secured their Olympic spot and as I noted above, I can’t believe the shopping in Sisak is anything to write home about.

I wasn't watching the Golden Spin yesterday, so do you know - was Simon Briggs here with anybody?

I was just wondering because there was somebody else with Conor Stakelum at the Santa Claus Cup.



Definitely more comfortable than the park bench with a thin cusion on top that they have in Budapest.

But, at least there is room for everybody. I still feel sorry for the coaches having to stand around at the British Championships because there were not enough stools.

This is the first day I've watched Zagreb, but think Simon Briggs is back in Dundee as there was a special outdoor Christmas Gala for the Dundee public last night with all the skaters performing. It may have been Andrew Smith, the Dundee Choreographer with Conor who travels sometimes.

I know! At the British they never have enough room for the coaches to sit, it's a shame.

I know we are in a pandemic and all, and they want to discourage skaters from bringing along the world and their mother. But surely they could have limited the numbers and had a bigger area with, say, 4 stools spaced out.

I totally agree, I find the Armenians are somewhat overrated re their high technical scores.
