FBC want gold at home games in four years

I doubt they have thought that far ahead as they do not seem to know if they will continue next season.

when they first gave their interviews about teaming up, they talked about winning at home games. Maybe at that point, they didn't expect to win it all right away... but now that they have done that, they may change their mind.

Cette association est-elle amenée à se poursuivre au-delà de 2026, qu'importent les résultats ? On pense évidemment aux Jeux de 2030 dans les Alpes françaises.

G.C. : On ne s'est pas mis de limite. Étant donné le temps qui nous sépare des Jeux de Milan, qui sont dans moins d'un an, on est extrêmement focalisés sur ce but-là. Mais évidemment que les Jeux olympiques de 2030, qui seront en France, sont très alléchants en tant qu'athlètes français. Surtout, quand on se souvient des Jeux de Paris cet été. C'est très inspirant de penser à cette possibilité.

My take on it : they got their gold medal now... they most likely will be world champions... they could do a James-Radford and skate shows now. They may even sit out a couple seasons and come back just for the games in 2030. . The difference now is that they have achieved the top rather sooner than maybe expected. I am sure that if they hadn't won, they would be clearer about continuing, but now, they can take their time and see what opportunities lie ahead now, and not wait 4 years for them.

I'm guessing they understood that outside 4 years French fans bubble they aren't universally loved champions and seen as heroes of the sport as they expected and now they are second guessing if medal in 2030 is worth being seen and remembered as forever villains by quite many, including their own teammates, judging by K&C reactions at team event (if I wasn't Adam's fan already, I would become one after that event).
