2022 US Nationals: Pre-game Chat

I drive 2 days of 12 hour drives to see Gracie😂😂

you are a dedicated fan:hap10:

but you also are not losing two days of practice time and spending three days in a car before needing to skate in a Very.Important.Competition. I am not happy that Alexa needs to fly, but I can understand why she is.

Alexa was on a plane today. I was like No, Alexa! Ash and Tim are driving. ❤️
I would think that with all the crazy flight cancellations — not to mention the possibility of skates getting lost/delayed by baggage crews — a Nationals participant would drive if possible at all. I’m hoping this means that the entire Cain entourage (including Amber) is going together.

There’s been nothing said about how he and Katarina DelCamp ended as far as I’m aware. Neither of them announced the end of the partnership, just showed up with new partners.

But the end of his 10 year partnership with Eliana Gropman was not pretty.

According to Katarina’s Instagram, it seems like Ian left her for a new partner. She made a post about it in November. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CWj1qX0AtEq/?utm_medium=copy_link

Toyota is kindly providing a way for us to virtually cheer on our favorite athletes. You do have to give them some info (can be an email you don’t use much).

Since the juniors don’t get much attention I’m going to try to virtually cheer them on individually. Maybe I will photograph parts of my stuffie collection.

Here is the link. https://www.toyotagoodluckblvd.com/...03931&utm_medium=social&utm_source=linkin.bio
I signed up and cheered for Alysa. I hope she has her moment at USN. (And Olympics).

What????? I’d have to get a hotel.
Its up for a little while. I dont think my provider knows what they are doing as they have expanded so fast.
It snows, my microwave path to the tower degrades in signal strength and with digital, there is a cliff effect. It works and then it doesnt work.
The trees with their snow load grew up into my path.
But I have no idea what to replace it with.
I pay $65 a month for 750 GB of data at 10 meg download speed. Perfect.
Hughesnet is way over $100 for 30 GB a month...then they throttle you down to 1-3 meg download speed. All but unusable except for email.
Satalittle companies warn you about streaming issues. Due to the 1/2 delay.
No one else I know of is or ever was happy with Hughenet or the other sattalittle companies.
They all want a 24 month committment.
Anyone have an internet provider via sattalite they like? There may be a few point to point providers around Spokane yet that I can access.
Another big storm coming Wednesday night.
This snow isnt going away soon. There is always Johnny and Tara.

I can cast Peacock from my phone to my TV. Absent that, hotel.

Some good news. Verizon/ ATT have agreed to delay their plans to turn up their 5G networks for two weeks. With all the bad weather, this will dramatically increase the chances of the fans and skaters getting out of Nashville at the end of the competition and having a drama free flight home.

I dunno, Chris. My poor daughter had PLENTY of drama trying to fly home from the Bahamas on Jan second (and third…)
