Yes, especially since Aliona still seems to want to be a neurosurgeon, it makes sense that she wants her hand to recover fully.

It's probably the best decision to prioritize her health, but a part of me does wish that she was already back on the ice or at least doing off-ice work to stay in shape... Looking at what happened at the US Championships, I can imagine a scenario where some of the Russian ladies could get COVID at Euros or at the training camp at Krasnoyarsk, and it would be nice if Aliona were in shape to be an alternate if it came down to that (i.e. everyone else has COVID)... I guess what I'm saying is that it seems to me like Aliona kind of sees her season as over, whereas I think she should try to be competition-ready because COVID is unpredictable and could force unexpected withdrawals...

In the comments Aliona also said she will have a new video on YouTube soon -- on makeup. Looking forward to that!

And I can't wait to see this adorable devil on ice again!

I'm thinking about how Adam Rippon broke his foot towards the end of one season and came back the next season in amazing shape and had his best season ever)

The Kinders from Kostornaia Team didn't harm her figure. Maybe her younger brother is very kind and attentive and sacrificed himself for the sake of her figure by eating most of them. She also has young cousins? I remember a video in an aunt's kitchen and it looked like a family with kids.

I think bouncy means blow up as in bombing a skate.

Has it been confirmed that aleona is back on the ice training? Not doing jumps but maybe riding a bike or doing some laps on the ice.

Probably so. Hopefully she will be on the ice again soon. But she has to be able to tie her shoelaces on her skates very tightly and for that she needs unbroken fingers.
