Mao Asada Exhibition with 3-3 and 3A at the end

Wow, did she just decide to throw in the 3A at the end? If she had planned a 3A, she would've done it at the beginning, no? Wow, totally crazy. ;)

Wow.
That was one helluva technically the strongest exhisbition I've ever seen!!
Mao never seems to get exhausted on the ice and I think of that cute pink bunny from battery commercial whenever I see Mao.

Btw I also liked how she showed her emotions throughout the program.

What a great exhibition program. Mao is amazing. She skates with grace, style, musicality and unbelievable technical ability. She is truly a "star"!

I really love this program, the slow music, and how she absorbs the music, and shows emotions. I wish she had the time to do so in her competitive programs.

3A and 3F-3L are amazing, even though they were not necessarily clean. I guess she was very relaxed and comfortable in this show. She barely had the time to prepare going into 3A. So if she had more speed, perhaps she could have landed more cleanly. This 3A looks significantly heavier than her usual ones.

I liked the original program better than the three consecutive 2As. She used to have spins and foot steps that went so well with music. I liked the way Lori originally choreographed for her. Unfortunately, this kind of change happens a lot with Mao programs, i.e., sacrificing musicality and choreo to incorporate more technically demanding tricks. Then I end up liking her first performance better compared to the ones later in season.

In any case, this is still by far the most favorite gala performance I've ever seen.
