Isn't it two?Gosh I like her attitude !!!! Very smart and honest comments on here. I fully support her quest to become National Champion.
Once again, one of our skaters is an international winner of a Challenger but has never won their own Nationals.
She's medaled before but hadn't won until nowIsn't it two?
I meant two skaters. But this is probably the wrong thread for that. She's medaled before but hadn't won until now
Maybe we should make a list in another thread. Sara maude is the latest addition.I meant two skaters. But this is probably the wrong thread for that.
For Canadian women, Alaine Chartrand did have 3A attempts before in international competition but weren't rotated or landed. Uliana Shiryaeva attempted a 3A at one domestic competition in BC.I've been catching up and saw that Sarah Maude won last week's challenger with a fully rotated triple axel. Wow! Congratulations to her. Have any Canadian women done 3A in competition before her free skate at Skate Canada? I know Lia Cho tried but not sure if it was counted. Was there anyone before that? Sorry for my ignorance, I still have a lot to learn.
I really liked Sarah Maude's Evanescence program from last two seasons. I like the energy and feeling she puts into her skating as well as her strength.
“I’m obviously very disappointed. This is not how I wanted to skate today. It’s not how I was training either,” said the 20-year-old from Montreal. “So yeah, I’m going to have to reflect on what happened today and look and see where do we need to change.
“But I’m still happy to be able to perform for such a great crowd today, and I’m going to come back stronger.”
