This event was the concept of mixed bag. Scary fall, bunch of lift mistakes, SBS mistakes, teams apologizing. Gosh, the pressure they must be facing.

Hmmm, at this point Karen Chen will likely finish 3rd or 4th behind Kaori who will likely take 2nd. So this means Chock/Bates will have to place at least two places higher than KoKo. They should be able to get 3 places higher, but KoKo might be able to scoot ahead of Wang/Liu. The battle for silver is very intense!

Canada should send Lajoie and Lagha and mix things up

It should never have come down to the ladies if the US was skating even decent right now. Ice Dance should have ended it.

Yikes, I screamed out loud when M/G fell. That is the first time I have ever seen them fall! Oh, goodness, my heart is racing, but everything was beautifully flawless to that point. Aww, love you guys and hope you are both okay!! <3

he was a pairs skater.. he is very knowledgeable seriously... you don't have to agree with him. That death spiral position is not making many friends you know

What is the tiebreaker for the team event?

According to the internets.....

The highest total team points from the two best places will break the ties:

If they remain tied, the highest total segment scores of the current segment of the two best places according to the team points will break the tie
If they remain tied, the highest total team points from the three best places will break the ties.
If they remain tied, the highest total segment scores of the current segment of the three best places according to the team points will break the ties.
If these criteria fail to break the ties, the teams will be considered as tied
If the teams are tied for a qualifying place all tied teams will qualify for the final

They had a mishap in one of the lifts. It was going well, but had to exit early and messily.
