2022 Olympics: Men's Free Skate

Poor Mark is completely exhausted. Still commits to Red Pants Jesus.👍

*This* is why Nathan Chen was never, rightfully, going to do both programs in the Team Event. ETA: And yes, I know, Mark may have additional stressors.

Aww, poor Mark is having a rough go of it in this FS. I am so sad for him! You know the upsetting news of the last 24 hours impacted his performance. I really feel so bad for him; it’s unfair that he has to compete under these unfortunate circumstances.

KONDRATIUK Mark (ROC)

I'm happy he was able to lay that down after a very long week of skates. Very solid 4T to open but a heavy step-out on the 3A and then a very unfortunate pop into a 1A. Good 3Lo and 4S+2T and a solid 4S despite the speed until a heavy fall on the +1Lo+3S (likely <). Good comeback with the 3Lz+2T. I appreciate his dedication to the timing of the music, particularly in both footwork sequences. Many not the most difficult steps but he carries the energy and intensity of the beat.
