So wonderful to see Kevin's beautifully expressive skating here after the tough season he has had. Congrats, thanks and happy Olympics, Kevin!

AYMOZ Kevin (FRA)

A very up-and-down skate for him today. Despite the mistakes, I'm happy he was able to get through it without breaking down in the middle and kept his mental focus as best he could. An unfortunate fall on the opening 4T and then a pop into just a 3T. Good 3A+2T, 3Lo, and stupendous second 3A. A good 3Lz into a 3F+1Lo+3S he had to fight for. Between the jumps, his attention to detail is clear and his movements match the phrasing of the music, not many notes are left unaddressed. It won't score highly technically but his artistry should keep him in the top 12 I hope.

Oh dear - rough skate by Kevin! His jumps were really off today (save for the 3A, which was quite nice). I really like him, but I don't find this program very exciting. The no-hand cartwheel was fun, and his top is really nice. It looks like the Northern Lights.

Keegan used to be a skinny kid from Alaska and now he looks like Elvis Stojko.

Interesting thing I noticed...he and Shoma have practically the same body... And the same amazing knees!
