Ah, thank you for the clarification. Hope he gets his minimums soon!Malinin is already slated for Worlds (if he gets his SP minimums). Jason would be the one to go, if Nathan pulls out.
Actually that could - huh? Go ahead..... if I told you the vibe you give off I would get banned.
I have! The poor fellow seems to have trouble getting through doors. Maybe he's not here because of thatThey look like they are in little space suits, very appropriate. I want one too. Have you seen the life sized one? He was boogying at alpine skiing.

He mentioned in an interview earlier this year that he may continue for another couple of years because he has more artistic vision to share with us.Does anyone know what Jasons plans are?
The Japanese skaters were all so very polite when they were clapping for Chen before his scores were announced. They represent their country well.UGH bittersweet, seeing Nathan take Yuzuru's spot in the podium seats.
I think they have another 4 years in them.Era of Hanyu it end?
Time of new king Chen?
about Nathan Really? Yuzuru program was a snoreDisappointing last group aside from Jason and Junhwan when it comes to performance. I love Shoma, but he didn't perform that well today. I found Yuma excellent in the short program but not convincing this time around. Morisi was less interesting than any program I can remember from him. And Nathan Chen? Ugh. Poor choreography. Did he just finish the program after the music? Because I think he did.
Anyway. I hope you all don't have too many emotional scars or tears from the event.
Some of my overall takeaways from the whole event (I didn't see each program, mind you):
*Yuzuru's actual skating and connection to the music in the short were better for me than many of his other performances. I also appreciated his long program more than I had expected.
*Yuma can be really charming, and we know he has great jumps.
*Matteo Rizzo's short program was a classic for me.
*Junhwan is a delight to watch.
*How interesting that Jason was but one rotation from 4th place. I gasped when he doubled the triple of his combo.
*Brendan Kerry should be proud of his efforts. I only caught the long program, but it was thoroughly enjoyable.
I didn't hear any commentary on Peacock, just had to figure out what was going on myself.Congrats to Nathan for his great skating accomplishments. But Tara and Johnny are getting really grating.

He said he's not decided yet. Said he could go two more seasons based on his physical state. He also said he doesn't want to retire before landing some quads some time ago. Until now, he's landed only one ratified. But he said he doesn't know yet if he'll retire after this season leaving the possibility of retirement open. But who knows.Does anyone know what Jasons plans are?
