Good for her that she didn't back away from it! She needs that mileage in competition to be able to get it done the way she does in practice.

Joannie 3+3 was underrotated from watching the replay, well, at least this was the first time she even tried. Good for her...

Cynthia was again overmarked. She's a non starter at international competitions.
Mira Leung was also overmarked a bit, but this was perhaps her best SP...

I am too! Mira's program was more conservative in its difficulty and she surely is not in the same league as Joannie with regard to maturity, sophistication, and carriage across the ice. I smell scandal!

Even with the fall, I'm glad Rochette didn't chicken out on the 3/3. If she's ever going to successfully include it, it may take a few times of her going for it and it not working before it does. If she just pops it or doubles the second jump all the time she'll never get there. I'm perturbed by how close Leung is to her. Even with a fall, Leung is not in Rochette's league. If this is the Canadian judges' way of trying to make Leung appear more of a contender on the world stage, I don't think it's going to work.

It's held in BC and Mira is a hometown girl. I would put Samson a lot closer to Mira. The quality of jumps Samson has is non-existent in Mira's program.

can someone please place scores for the last two flights? I can't open the files for scores
