The answer is simply: there is a village Moscow (Moskwa) in Poland (actually the village is said to be founded by a noble man who had been in Moscow during that war...). So technically Katia could have been born in Moscow, Poland

She's injured???? Her FP was great! So glad she pulled off (mostly) clean skate and have a very happy Olympic moment

We were so lucky to see her skate in person @ 2021 Skate America and have been cheering for her ever since. It was shocking what happened in her Olympic short program, but we were very hopeful that she would come back so strongly in her very charming free skate program, and she did! Stay healthy, Ekaterina, and skate lights out @ Worlds!
