Wow, the judges rewarded Ash/Tim. I thought they would take off more for the slight touchdown on Ash's throw landing. Other than that, Ash/Tim were perfection. Apparently, the judges would have placed Ash/Tim in front of Alexa/Brandon, if not for the touchdown mistake. For sure, both U.S. teams deserve the credit they have gotten here for their skating, although I think Alexa/Brandon's PCS is slightly managed. I'm glad to see Ash/Tim are being respected and appreciated as they weren't at the start of the season (a somewhat slow start for them due to Ash recovering from COVID, but their quality has been evident all season, and they persevered to make podiums and win respect from the judges).
