As a Russian civilian, she will probably take a hit financially, seeing as their economy has essentially been nuked. There won't be as many opportunities as before for her to earn money. Most rational people will want to spend their money on practical needs like food, instead of on things like ice skating shows. But Evgenia seems to attract a larger international fanbase than most of the other Russian skaters. She could have a very lucrative career as a show skater in countries like Japan where she would make a killing doing commercials. Her competitive career is over, so it's not like promoting her would come off as supporting Russian skating in any way. As long as she's not an outspoken Putin sympathizer (cause...yikes), it is unlikely she will be personally shunned by companies for situations outside of her control. Her biggest obstacle would be getting out of of the country with flights refusing to go there, and doubly so if Russia decides to close its borders. I feel very sad for all the Russian athletes, and ordinary Russian people who did not want this war. I also feel sorry for those who have been brainwashed to support it. All will pay a price for it. No matter what "side" you are on, everyone will loose in some way.
The insinuation that Evgenia should essentially sell her person to a Russian oligarch for financial security is truly disgusting. It should not even be entertained. What on Earth were you thinking?
She just bought a house and the government could directly take all her money to prevent her to leaveI think that she should leave, I hope that she is able to.

What programs do you think she will skate?
It is a promo filmed before the war. Same about the video where she is driving. And yes, she has a driving licence.https://www.instagram.com/p/CazRZ5pAszG/
Evgenia posted this. She is shopping, don't know if its a promo.
yesDidn't she buy herself a Mini Cooper for her birthday?
I think that Armenia has political and social problems, it is convenient for her to go to America or maybe Japan to teach skating classes. She is silent in the social media, only congratulated all girls and women with women's day. She used an old photo of her with her mother from a happier time. It may take time for her to move out of Russia as she has several contracts with ice shows of Tutberidze and has to finish her education this year as a figure skating trainer. She said that she has already written her thesis and shall defend it this spring. We should wait and see what happens next. She is half Armenian and can move to Armenia if necessary.
yay new programEvgenia stated that she has a new exhibition skate for Tat's birthday celebration in April.
