Alena Kostornaia

If you mean Elena Germanovna Buianova, then I can't forget her "results" with Polina Tsurskaya and Maria Sotskova which don't exactly inject optimism into my veins. I'm quite certain that Aliona thrives under firm hand and in an environment full of "constant competition" which is something Polina previously said she had problems with and moved to a "more relaxed environment". I'm quite worried that such more relaxed environment won't lead to results we are all expecting and hoping for.

Yes, of course I mean Buianova. Sorry, I seem to have a mental block about her name.

thank you for your interesting thoughts. I think that Aliona will have evolved and transformed. I look forward to what a different training environment can mean for her.

Thank you to @norwegianfairytale, @flanker, and @Lzbee also for your interesting answers to my question.

I read this interview of Mark K's coach, and I was intrigued by this quote from her, because it seems to me to be relevant to Aliona.
Thoughts?

Svetlana Sokolovskaya about Mark Kondratiuk: “He’s lazy, but he has a special laziness. He knows when to stop. This helps him a lot. Being a lazy person is generally a big advantage.”

that fact alone that knowing when to stop means laziness is a very, very big problem.
