Senior Ladies SP

So I guess it's all eyes on Wagner at this point. Also I know this has been discussed already, but I think this is the best I have seen Meissner all season. She really projected a maturity and presence very befitting of a world-class senior lady. She really made everybody else just look like little girls out there.

Now, wouldnt it be seriously horrible if we could not score 3 spots for Worlds 09? I have a gut feeling both Zhang and Nagasu, in 2 years, will be able to overtake Kim and Asada for that OG....and to think, after 2006, I was seriously doubting how long US Ladies FS could ever remain the staple it had been....

...now, on to watching Ashley. If she can score big, I'll be pretty happy. =]

A LOT can happen in the LP, but yeah, I hadn't even thought about Caroline not being able to go. Poor thing has had so much pressure and so many expectations put on her. All season long she has not flinched as much as she did tonight. It's sad!

I hope not. I love Mirai, but I feel for Yu-na and Mao not being able to go to the Olympics in 2006, when both could have possibly done quite well.

Besides Mirai and Caroline do have their weaknesses. Thrilled though that Mirai is now firmly out of Zhang's shadow. I think she's more talented, she needs a better jumping coach though. Maybe Frank Carroll?

i can't belive this! last year everybody was perfect and tis year they are all fallling apart! And AGAIN, kimmie is overmarked. I thought that for once the judeges would get it right. som things never change. congats marai, ;( to caroline.... i though she was gonna nail this one. just like ast year, she made is mistake in the SP and it cost her.
