This is not to rag on these hard working skaters, I have also said when watching unknown American pairs, they just reinforce how difficult the pairs discipline is and how good the seniors really are.

ok... major problem in that dance lift... good that it doesn't count as an element... his pivots need work on the pairs lift... but somewhat they managed a bit better than the previous team.

They landed 2A instead of the fall, and apart from the wonky lift that wasn’t they defended Winnipeg’s honor.

barely landed that 2a but yes.. they did much better. I didn't know Winnipeg had a figure skating honour to defend... no offense to winnipeg.

that's the man... he is figure skating royalty... if you want to know... he was on the judging panel in 2002.. and spoke up.

Always happy to see Max and especially to see them with a new entrance for their SBS... the previous one was so awkward... not worried for the throw and SBS spins... the rest is pretty good.

I think that was very respectable for a first outing and I look forward to the program developing nicely as the season wears on.

I like the program too, interesting moves, and of course Deanna skates like the queen she is.

Throws have always been her weak point, in the US, and here, I'm just happy she just touched down and didn't fall.

Costumes for both: A plus.
