From their official Instagram. The fragment that they’ve shared looks really exciting.

Full program

I noticed some of our juniors who are turning to seniors have their musics updated

Janna Jyrkinen (FIN) (juniors & seniors):

Music Short Program as of season 2022/2023
Your Heart Is As Black As Night by Beth Hart, Melody Gardot

Music Free Skating as of season 2022/2023
The Story of Voyages (soundtrack) by Alfred Schnittke

Olivia Lisko (FIN) (juniors & seniors)

Music Short Program as of season 2022/2023
I love Paris by Mathieu Boogaerts and Cole Porter

Music Free Skating 2022/2023
Fantasy for Violin and Orchestra on Porgy and Bess by George Gershwin, performed by John Williams, Joshua Bell, London Symphony Orchestra

From the Russian pairs thread:

Boikova/Kozlovski RUS
FS: Anna Karenina (soundtrack)

Mishina/Galliamov RUS
SP: Waltz No.2 by Dmitri Shostakovich
FS: Elvis Presley medley

With this B/K update above, I'm assuming the previously announced Toxic program must be their SP...

If Ilia actually skates at least in part to the Screamin Jay Hawkins version of I Put a Spell on You, he will have my undying respect. It would also be perfect for him, IMHO.

If it is all a cover by someone named Garou, I will have a sad. :(

Have a watch. I'm thinking I'm really looking forward to seeing Ilia skate to this version.
It seems the way the program is listed is that it's a mix of both versions in the program.

Caroline Green & Michael Parsons USA

RD: Samba: Vocalizado by Alessandro Oliviato, Rhumba: Historia De Un Amor by Cesaria Evora, Samba: Boutique by Watazu
FD: Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
Choreographers: Charlie White, Tanith White, Greg Zuerlein

So excited to see what they do with Rhapsody in Blue!
Can't wait either. Have not seen anyone do this lately and it is a great piece to skate to for the right team. Getting excited already.

I'm neutral for now, and same for the Free Program - don't love it, don't hate it.

I'm open to going either way. Depends on the programs and the performance.

Bradie Tennell (USA)

SP: Restrictus by Mario Batkovic, Cedric Tour (keeping SP from last season)

FS: Four Seasons by Vivaldi

Choreo: Benoit Richaud

Tennell will re-use half of the tango short program prepared for the Olympic season, with Richaud revising the other half. His choreography for her new free skate will give an oft-used piece of music in figure skating, Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons,” a strikingly different interpretation he chose not to reveal until it is performed.

Euphoria is a television show, I think? Never saw it and don't know the sound track, so I don't have an opinion.

I have always had strong opinions on "I Put A Spell on You". It is not a bluesy or jazzy song of lost love and strange metaphors.

Screamin Jay Hawkins, who wrote the song, wanted to put a *spell* on you. A real live spell. With skulls and voodoo and maniacal laughter. My folks told me when they needed a date night from us young 'uns, they would go see Screamin Jay at the Latin Casino in Philadelphia. He would rise up from a coffin to start the show. ☠️⚰️ ☠️

If Ilia does that, complete with maniacal laughter and skulls on his costume, I will, as the kids say, stan.

The one, the only Screamin' Jay Hawkins:

I found the soundtrack for Euphoria, but didn't listen to all of it - I just skipped around and sampled it. I'm completely unfamiliar with the show.

The best thing about it is that it's different. Never heard the music before, so I'm interested in seeing what he can do.

I'm not as invested in the SP music as some. He'll have to show me. I'm a blank slate, willing to be convinced.
