Her little girl was actually really good-the problem is MOST of them were good, and a single mistake left you pretty far downHer death stare!
some more interesting programs in pairs from Roslyakov/PopovaThere have been Instagrams of him working with her on the step seq, and today it scored huge GOE-(and it was outstanding!) and she kept up with the music as well. The 3A combo was a risk I did not think she should take, she still would have won the SP with a lower score-it was not necessary-and I worry about the stress level, and the intensity of these little girls. Rather than award prize money, I wish the Russian fed would use that money to subsidize -say - the girls who came in 10th to 15th-this is a new oly quad, there are many who have the raw talent but not the ice time or training opportunities of a Plushy or Eteri skater. Give more of these little girls a chance this year to move forward to junior nationals-expand the field! Hold a last chance Russian cup /grand prix for the juniors on the bubble and add them this year to junior nats, why not? The ban is a good opportunity for Russia to take a small step back from 'battle' mentality-especially with these very young girls, and what I see is some rather ego driven coaching staff bringing a stress level that is unhealthy. Titova has always had star quality, but the stress of that 3A/3T wasn't necessary or worth the stress.Tbh, I wasn't completely convinced of this program at Test skates, but Sofia sold it really well hereThe step sequence is so much fun

Serves me right. I'm terribly impatient - there are very few skaters I would wait for the stream to continue for hours (actually only one 
). Could have checked on my phone. I watched hockey instead (my favourite sport in the world

Hope to catch up with performances, probably after FS!Fantastic skate from Timofey.It was his first CoR event, he must have been so excited. To be honest, I was quite excited.
I like the standings so far.What happened to the Shelkovnikovs? I thought Dima was placed a wee bit higher...

prior to last season it was barely used and then all of the sudden there were like 20 different programs to that song during the 21-22 season. I dont get it the song didn't even go viral in 2021 its an old song too.

Anna Lyashenko is honestly such a little powerhouse, kind of like Nadezhda Ponteleenko. My first time seeing her, and I'm quite impressed by the attack she has on her jumps and how fast she seems to be.
A nice redemption skate (not that her Short was a disaster, but she was certainly quite disappointed with the missing combination)
