Akatieva's 3A was huge, too huge.

Muraviewa is very close to being perfect really. The only thing I wish she didn't bend so low between jumps in combos, but this has became a standard.

I've actually never seen a skater bend quite as much as Mura, maybe Keegan Messing? Or Isabeau Levito, but Mura bends on the landing and Isabeau on the take-off.

Either way, Mura has had this technique since she was a novice, so it's probably not easy to work on it. It looks better at times, but it's not a consistent improvement. Particularly with injuries halting the progress.

Love Akatieva's long program, and the name of the program is saying "Welcome to Earth". It suits her so much Loved Liza and her spiral here as well. The somber but still beautiful music is a good match for her

Was the first 2A a pop or really planned? I don't see the utility of a 3A-3T when there is just one 3A.

It didn't look like a pop.

She does 3A+3T to be used to it, because there will be second 3A soon anyway.

It's like Yametova opens with a solo 2A.
