As for the 3rd sport group missing, can't they be a part of either the younder or older category?

They can skate in the 1st youth category, the skaters in the 3rd sport category tho are allowed to do 2As and do StSQ instead of a chore sequence in their program while youth skaters are not allowed so thats kinda the difference here.

im really interested in the 2nd sport boys. We haven't seen Artem since last season and this is his 1st outing in TT and baby Kirill hasnt competed in a while either. Also just realized TT send Arseny to compete here which makes sense as they dont have anyone else who would qualify but kinda interesting to see him in Novices again even tho technically he is one.

on paper Marina and Polina are the favorites but both are so inconsistent and without the short program to prop them up its really up in the air how they will do

she has UR problem sadly, but she lands her triples better than last season so there's improvement there

Marinas jumps are big and she normally can land them fine if she rotates them and she does normally but unlike Polina who URs but can land not fully rotated jumps Marina will fall if she doesn't rotate the jump and the Flip hasnt worked in her last few comps for some reason.

I wonder if they will have some sort of medal ceremony or give medals I think it could be really fun for these kids if they do
