Some moments in this video are just too cute. Shoma and Steph hopping in sync out in the street (lol, imagine being a random passerby) and Steph doing the flower dance lol
wish I had some time to do a rough translation of the talk, Demi san and Hama san were talking so much and there’s a lot of praise for Stephane’s coaching as well.

I'm watching the women right now and as far as i can tell the free Tver version has commentary (the paid fujitv doesn’t) and obviously ads. Ads are annoying though (after each skate). Not sure about the differences in terms of camera work, video quality etc.

I think you can't watch on phone/ipad because an app is required, but on laptop it works just fine (but ofc you will need a VPN)

They aren't hopping in the street, but within a housing area which is separated from the outside (streets) by a fence (you can see it on the left side). I have been in Torino at the GPF 2019, and it stroke me that particularly in the area near the Palavela (the stadion where the competition takes place), there are lots of such fenced blocks. Must have to do something with crime rate.
I remember also the hallway where Shoma is running. It's in a large and quite new shopping mall not far away from the Palavela. (Nice to see this venue again, even if not live, sigh.)

Well nothing happening yet since skating won’t start probably for a few more hours Japan time. By the time their time for skating happens I’ll already be 😴 I’m not worried about Shoma though. He has everything he needs from what I can see. I hope after it’s all done Shoma and Yuma pose for a picture with Rio. A picture with the three of them would be so nice.

Well I’m moving to Japan in a few years to teach English to both Japanese children and adults. I want to help as many people as I can when I’m living there so if I ever bumped into Shoma I’d be happy to give him my business card and be an instructor for him. I’d treat him as a normal man because that is what he is.

That was very touching hearing him talk about wanting a family of his own. Well maybe he’ll marry Marin one day and have a family with her. They look so deeply in love with each other. It’s beautiful 🥰they are such good friends. When the one you love romantically is someone who you have a deep connection with and is such a good friend to you it must be a powerful thing.

Holy sweet photo, Batman. That is just stunning.....kudos to the photographer for the B&W snap.
 
Something else.. I hope he gets asked about how Nationals feel as the reigning World Champ (plus GPF winner ofc) compared to the others. I guess now Shoma realizes a bit how it often felt for Yuzuru, coming into this not only as a favourite for the podium, for the win, but also with the titels next to your name 🤔
