I'm surprised she's still with JAL. Must be like an ironclad 10 year contract or something.

Well, she'll never be number one again, but maybe someday she'll be numero Uno.

That is my sincere hope-- that Marin and Shoma are happy together, no matter what happens next in their careers.

Confession time: I was at Skate Canada in 2019 and didn't feel anything towards Marin or cheer for her very much, despite her having been in that car accident with Keiji Tanaka...(and I cheered for Keiji more than anyone else, even more than Yuzuru!) I feel like a bad fan for not supporting her more back then... (Especially since I suspect she may have been dating Shoma back then.)
