I'm pretty sure that's Rohene Ward (I know him best for Jason Brown's choreography, but he has a much bigger resume). Now you can look up more pictures.Dirty old lady commentary: Gasparatto’s coach is all kinds of fine.
I'm on West Coast...NBC here showing news. Even though the event is live in San Jose, CA, NBC broadcast is delayed until 8pm PST. Ad revenue thing? This resurfacing is so about TV. They want NBC to get the 2nd and 3rd groups without interruption. NBC didn't show the first group--they did short program replays.
I'm sure a lot of them would have gone for triples, if they'd been allowed to. Men were required to do a solo double axel, until the '98 Olympics, if I remember correctly.I often act as if nothing has changed in decades but after rewatching a ton of 80s and 90s skating I remembered that the women only had to do one triple in the short once upon a time. Now they're doing 3 and the really adventurous ones are doing 4. Even the men were doing a double in the short in the 80s.
I hate that! I lived in California during the 2010 Olympics and had to watch everything on tape delay despite being on the same time zone. I'm so happy there are streams these days.I'm on West Coast...NBC here showing news. Even though the event is live in San Jose, CA, NBC broadcast is delayed until 8pm PST. Ad revenue thing?
Yes, I remember Todd Eldredge landing his triple axel (solo jump) but not landing the required double at the 1992 Olympics.I'm sure a lot of them would have gone for triples, if they'd been allowed to. Men were required to do a solo double axel, until the '98 Olympics, if I remember correctly.
Hello to YuBluByDad!My dad’s here! He couldn’t work his tickets on his phone - old man problems - so I had to come to the rescue. Security let him in anyway, but dad let him have his phone for collateral.
is the sound so bad or do they only play weird covers in the arena?
